Countless people, including myself, have gone through or are still going through these types of phases. Years ago and in the thick of it, when I became aware of this cycle, I wrote Dope Charges. I wanted to use this song to make other people aware of this perpetual trend too, especially the younger guys.
We all are influenced by movies (even more than music), trying to be our own boss making fast money because we are filled with entrepreneurial spirit, and are all trying to impress girls who sometimes tend to like the bad boys.
